RE: axis2 web services security
You can use Basic Authentication to make sure that only the right ppl can access your WSDL file. The tutorial at [1] should give you a better idea on implementing this. You can also use Apache Rampart if you need a better security mechanism. A good tutorial on Rampart can be found at [2]. 1 - http://www.javaranch.com/journal/200603/Journal200603.jsp#a2 2 - http://wso2.org/library/3190 Cheers Sanjay >-Original Message- >From: somineni [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] >Sent: 08 July 2008 02:55 >To: axis-user@ws.apache.org >Subject: axis2 web services security > > >Hi friends, >anyone can help regarding web serivces. >i was created a web service by using "Axis2 Integration with >the Spring Framework" configuration.its working fine.but the >problem is all people is able to see my wsdl file from >browser. if want stop seeing the wsdl in browser.so for do i >need any web services security.if need what type security i >have to add to my service. >plz help me regarding this. > > >Regards >somineni > >-- >View this message in context: >http://www.nabble.com/axis2-web-services-security-tp18330438p18 330438.html >Sent from the Axis - User mailing list archive at Nabble.com. > > >- >To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] >For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > - To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Web Services Security
Hi all, I am using Axis 1.4 for building my java web services. The client will be in .Net Could anyone please advice me the best way of achieving the security. I have read about public and private keys but has anyone already implemented it for web services? In that case, can anyone please give me a pointer so that I can get some direction to implement it.
