Re: problem with deploying services

2008-11-16 Thread nafran shiraz
if i explain the problem in detail i am working in a project where we use
the idle time of a computer if a network. Available examples for this is
something like ( [EMAIL PROTECTED] , world community gird ) in our project what
we
are trying to do is when a computer is in idle stage we will deploy a
service in that machine which will be use full for some work.for all this we
are using a common repository and this repository has all the services on in
but when a computer is idle we only want that computer to deploy 1 or 2
services out of all the services in the repository, because different
computers will deploy different services.

this is why i said i cant do it from the service.list since this will be a
common list for all the client PC's
hope this gave you some clear idea

Yes that is true. I also can not understand why he need to use a common

I still not getting your problem. Why you want to use a common repository
if you don't want to share the services. I mean you have to use a common
repository only if you have same set to services to be deployed among the
services.

Only other way is to use an Observer and throw deployment exceptions for
the services you do not want to deploy. or hack the deployment so that
you can feed your own services.list file ;-)
