Tyler,
Since you have an uncle in Ponta Delgada, AND you have an exact name and date 
of birth for your grandfather, and the names of his parents, why not have your 
uncle go either to the S. Pedro Church or the Registo Civil, and obtain a birth 
record for your grandfather? It will contain the name of his parents AND his 
grandparents. Good luck.

Calheta is part of S. Pedro, P. Delgada and was the fishing port that was 
done away for when they made the extention of the Avenue

in Ribeira Grande council, but not P.Delgada.

the Boa Nova prison as one heads towards S. Roque. Geographically, it would 
appear to be within the parish boundaries of S. Pedro.
The other Calhetas on S. Miguel, a newer parish, is sandwiched between Rabo de 
Peixe and Fenais da Luz.
