I, too, have the information on my direct lines back to the beginning of the records and a little further back. I have not done research on the "peripheral" lines, as I call the cousins, aunts, uncles, etc. However, by continuing to monitor the list, I have made connections with distant cousins and have shared my info. and they have shared their info. So.I continue to add to my files and have even found that some of us are related more closely than I would ever have thought. [AZORES-Genealogy] Leaving the List
I have completed my Mom and Dad's genealogy WY back, have put together a hard bound book for each of my children and my brother and now.I QUIT I am sure I could continue by filling in the families of "cousins" but I'm tired. However, I must say I could NOT have done it without the help of "fellow listers like yourselves", but...ESPECIALLY Joe RAPOSO.He contributed greatly to my geneatlogy research even to the point that the info he gave me on my mother's family "connected" to the info I already had on my Dad's and now I have been able to complete both lines. Thanks again to all who have helped in the past...I will never forget you and to Joe RAPOSO..an especially B-I-G "THANK YOU. I will sign off now and wish all of you success in your search. It has an attachment that looks like a PDF. DO NOT OPEN the PDF. It is not a PDF. If opened, it launches a Windows script that attacks your contact list and then starts attacking your PC. [AZORES-Genealogy] [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Hi Matt: >I've traced my da Ponte line back to my 6th great-grandfather Domingos da Ponte, born in Povoação (N.S. Mãe de Deus) in November 1726, son of Martinho da Ponte and Suzana de Medeiros. Any of these names sound familiar? While I don't have any info (yet) in my databasein the 1700's, I DO have quite a few Da-Ponte's in Maia in the 1800's. I have just gotten more info on the family that will probably take it back further butunfortunately, at the moment I have it "packed up" to take with me next week when I go to Florida for the winter...I live in Ohio and I HATE cold weather:-( Anyway, a soon as I get "unpacked" I will check it out and let you know if we DO, in fact, have a connection...:-) In the meantime.have a great day.:-) Elizabeth --~--~-~--~~~---~--~~ To unsubscribe from this group, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Follow the confirmation directions when they arrive.
