[AZORES-Genealogy] Nos Portugueses
Can anyone tell me what this website is about? I think it has something to do with Associacao Dos Amigos Da Torre Do Tombo, I know Torre Do Tombo is the genealogy research library in Lisbon as I have been and done research there. If I put in a family name it comes up at this Nos Portugueses site and I would like to know what information I might glean from it. You didn't provide a URL. I tried www.nosportugueses.com and it was blocked by my antivirus as a PHISHING SITE!!! Do NOT go there! Update your virus software, malware, etc and scan your computer!!! Right now, I can figure out that the URL you provided functions the same as Tombo.pt/en.It's a portal or table of contents to the CCA. I was able to navigate it and wind up on an image from the CCA. What I found interesting is if I put in a family name, it comes up with that name and then I am not sure if I join (affordable) they will provide the information without my having to search for it on the Tombo.pt. site.
