Re: [AZORES-Genealogy] Re: Vierra/Vieira Family
Carolina, I have a boatload of Flores families detailed in my databases, including a few Rodrigues Vieira lines from Lajes. Find everyone you're looking for? It sounds like your husband's great grandfather is the brother of my grandfather. I am going to visit Flores for the first time later this year. [AZORES-Genealogy] Re: Vierra/Vieira Family
Hi Dianne, I've got a couple of Rodrigues Vieira in my personal family tree. They're a bit back in time though. Feel free to take a look: http://venturas.org/familytree/pedigree.php?rootid=I1748ged=venturas I'd recommend you buy the 'Casais das Flores e do Corvo' ebook. You'll be able to build your family tree a lot faster with that. You can find it easily in amazon.com. Re: [AZORES-Genealogy] Re: Vierra/Vieira Family
Dianne, When you are in Santa Cruz, Flores, be sure to stop in at the Flores Museum which is located in the old Convento da Boaventura. The former director Joao Antonio Gomes Vieira still spends a lot of time there (his son Luis is now the director) and may be related to you or at least probably can hook you up with relatives. Contact me directly if you like and I can probably give you some more leads but it will take me a little time.
