You can use google's translator. If you highlight a section and copy it, you
can
then go to google's translator and paste it. Then hit translate, and you
will get

People with ancestors on the islands of Flores and Corvo can now more easily
from now, to know their roots in the two islands of the Western Group of the
Azores.

The initiative is the researcher Francisco António Nunes Pimentel Gomes,
who, during the 21. Edition of the Emigrant Festival, held 14-17 July in the
village of Lajes das Flores, released his book "couples of Flores and Raven
(Extracts of the seats of marriage from 1675 to 1911).

This new book is an authentic database of marriages in those two islands,
presenting a list of more than ten thousand seats extracts (9190 and 1057
Flores Corvo), grouped by parish, and within each of these, in order
Alphabetical
the male spouse, which makes all the research.
The study covered the books of marriage on deposit in the Public Library and
Regional Archives Horta, for these two islands, and despite already having
lost some books, including still extracts seats marriage dating back to
1675, in If two parishes of Flowers, and 1694, in the case of Raven.

With a circulation of 750 copies, publishing this book of 534 pages, was
sponsored by the City of Lajes das Flores, Corvo Municipality, Regional
Directorate for Culture, Communities and Regional Directorate of the
Regional Legislative Assembly of the Azores.

"Couples of Flores and Corvo (Extracts Seats marriage 1675-1911)" is being
marketed by the author, at a price of 15.00 Euros (on surrender of the book
in hand).

If mailed, the book costs 19.00 Euros in Portugal and 47.00 U.S. Dollars in
North America. These prices include, of course, all costs of shipping the
book (+ postage of Post padded envelope).
