Yes, it's one big puzzle or detective hunt. Or Clue game! Hopefully more matches will come in over the next couple of months (after the kit is received, Family Finder is taking anywhere from 2-6 weeks to process, depending on how good the person scraped and batch size). It most certainly is exciting! I've found the connections to more DNA matches than I thought I could've while I continue to research others with the same hope for a breakthrough. Sometimes it's just the light bulb going off in my head telling me where to look or just stumbling onto that small piece of information you didn't have before.. Gertrude's brother is my is my 3rd g-grandfather while her husband and his 1st wife are my 5th g-grandparents so I'm related to this DNA match on at least two of my paternal lines but I suspect we're also related on my maternal line as I've ready seen surnames from my mom's side.
