Joanne, Hopefully you see it now. here it is again: MANOEL LUIZ in other records (1876) he is named Manuel Luiz da Costa, pescador & MARIA DO CARMO LUIS DA COSTA Caichinha _in another record spelled as Caixinha_ meaning small box. This nickname is still currently used in Rosario. Maternal grandparents appear as Manoel Martins and Maria _ Ricarda _ I will be happy to to have a look at your file. I would love to have more information on this line but especially if the surname changes as we go further back in time so let’s compare notes. Yes, I see the s's are more complete. Since some of you know it to be Cachinha, that's what it is. The other Caixinha is another spelling variant. But you better compare notes with Maria as she seems to know all about this line.
