Re: Re: [AZORES-Genealogy] new to the group/100% Azorean grandparents,
I think this may be the parents ??- Ship's Manifest - Peninsular sailing from Sao Miguel to New York arriving 5/26/1900. Manuel de Sousa Miquelina 58, (if in US before - yes 1897), Jacintha de Sousa 39, Marianna 24, Marianna 20 (yes 2 named Marianna) . They are going to their son Manuel de Sousa Miquelina living in Fall River. I also found them in the 1910 US Census Manuel 69, Jessie J. 49, Mary AC 19. I am not sure if the 1900 records are on the CCA site or not. "E" -- To unsubscribe from this group, send email to azores+unsubscr...@googlegroups.com. Re: [AZORES-Genealogy] new to the group/100% Azorean grandparents,
lots of those names are accurate, but I think the birthdates may be too young. I will take this to the cemetery to see if I find birthdates for Mary and John Thank you On Jun 14, 2012, at 1:08 PM, bellema...@gmail.com wrote: > FSouza, > > Is this your family on the 1910 Fall River, Ward 7, Bristol Co. Re: [AZORES-Genealogy] new to the group/100% Azorean grandparents,
Thank you for this information. I will research the dates a bit--I am pretty sure that the grandparents on my fathers side were 1875 and 1879, and on my mother's 1890 and 1892. All of them are buried nearby, so I will visit the gravesights to try to narrow this down.
