[backstage] Radio programme track listings

2006-10-02 Thread keithdouglas
Hi all,

I'm a newbie to this so I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction.
Is there a web service that will give me a track listing and details of all
the tracks played on the previous night's Late Junction show (Radio 3)?

Thanks,
Keith

Not particulary amazing but here's a rough parser for it.

http://server-2.webcoding.co.uk/latejunction.php?uri=http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio3/latejunction/pip/wcw2k

They dont provide a very nice mechanism for automating the date sequences so
it's pretty hard to find the latest listing, additonally they put up
listings for the future minus the playlists. Im sure it's pretty simple to
do some more dependent on whether this type of thing would be useful.

Anyway..

Jim.

Ah
thanks Mario,

So I'm
wondering which you prefer?Hi Ian,hard to say... I started with the live.com gadget, then ported that to the other platforms. If I started elsewhere I may have addressed things differently, but as it stood, it was all really quite straightforward. One thing I found useful was the Google NXSL API (their Xpath implementation) - once I used it in the google module, to keep the code as similar as possible I included it in all the other modules as well.
