Hello,

We had the same problem with our Linbox Rescue Server
(http://lrs.linbox.org).
And we worked with Cygwin to fix the bug a few weeks ago, on a W2K SP4 :-)

So, if you download the latest cygwin1.dll for the snapshots page,
http://www.cygwin.com/snapshots/, close all cygwin programs and overwrite
the dll
with the last one, it should fix your problem.

Cheers,

   Ludovic.

[BackupPC-users] backuppc bug tracker?

2006-06-06 Thread Ralf Gross
Hi,

I was looking at the backuppc home page and the sourceforge project page
for the bug tracker that is backuppc is using. I couldn't find any info on
how to file a bug, what is the recommended way to do this?

Ralf

Wellnow I have the same problem with an other host. But this time it's
a linux system.

Can't open /var/lib/backuppc/pc/xx/new//fideva-share/ for empty output
  create 0 / 0
Can't open /var/lib/backuppc/pc/xx/new//fideva-share/ for empty output
  create 0 / 0
Can't open /var/lib/backuppc/pc/xx/new//fideva-share/ for empty output
  create 0 / 0

I found 2 other messages regarding this error message, but there seems to
be no solution for this yet.
