Limit the number of error browsers?
Is there some way of telling BBEdit to use only one result browser for a specific file? I tend to end up with a large set of error browsers for a file (probably because of my working style) and it gets a bit tedious to close each browser. -- Jan Erik Moström, [EMAIL PROTECTED] --~--~-~--~~~---~--~~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups BBEdit Talk group. How do I switch panes in a browser from the keyboard?
Is there a way to switch the focus from the list pane to the text pane and back in a (disk) browser, from the keyboard? Here's my question in a more generic form: Is there documentation on keyboard shortcuts that do not have menu equivalents? -- Daryl --~--~-~--~~~---~--~~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups BBEdit Talk group. symbol list accessible in AppleScript
Is the symbol list accessible in AppleScript? For instance, if I have a CSS file open, can I get a list of attributes that would show up in the symbol list? Re: Auto Save Default Window
This option manually saves the default window position, but I want BBEdit to *always* remember it's window size and position each time I end the program. I don't want to have to manually invoke that menu command just before I close the program. I'd love BBEdit to support this natively, but if there were a way to invoke the Save Default Window command via AppleScript, I'd be happy. I believe this is exactly what BBEdit does with the Window - Save Default Window command. From page 137 of the user manual: Each type of window has its own default position and size. For instance, the default position and size for project windows is different from the default position and size for text windows. Re: Auto Save Default Window
I'm not talking about remembering the state of my last session (and I realize that BBEdit will honor the size/window position saved with specific files, if that option is checked). I like to start with a clean slate when I start BBEdit so I have it set to create a new text document on start. When I'm done with the program and close it, upon reopening BBEdit, I have a new text document and the window is no longer the size or position it was when I closed the program. I'm not sure if I'm being very clear. I'm searching for a way to make the main BBEdit window retain it's size/position after program close, regardless of what documents I have open. Re: Auto Save Default Window
Yes. I'm wanting the editor window to preserve its size regardless of what document(s) I have open. Especially since I start with a blank text file each program start. The last two entries in the Markup menu are Preview in [Default] and Preview in [Menu Selection]. Using this latter would allow you to select the one you want.
