KevinB - I hope you get more info from the forum also. I always revise the
files on my computer desktop, then upload them. I don’t edit files at the
server.
Best wishes,

Re: BBEdit and Interarchy

2018-07-10 Thread Nori Muster
Hi Kevin - my problem with Interarchy is sometimes when I upload more than few
files, the connection drops off. Then it just spins for a while and tells me
the files didn’t post.
It’s almost like the server perceives my posting numerous files as some sort of
attack and locks me out.
On the discussion where I was posting about that was another woman who was
trying to make changes to her files online and Interarchy would not save the
changes. However, luckily, somehow she had updated copies of the files on her
computer. I’m not sure how that all worked.

Something like this?

Sandcastle Condo Community

  body{

 font-family: Helvetica, sans-serif;

Re: BBEdit and Interarchy

2018-03-16 Thread Nori Muster
Oh good, so you have a copy, but it doesn't save on Interarchy.
It could be for the same reason though - Interarchy logs off or throws up a
firewall.
As to what's causing it - that's a mystery.
As to how to fix it, I switch to my hotspot, or just wait for it to time
out. After I get the message the file was rejected, I can usually go right
back in there and it will start working again.
If I try to fight it, like reboot Interarchy, that just makes it worse.
There's another comment - maybe someone else has a good suggestion . . .

Re: BBEdit and Interarchy

2018-03-16 Thread Nori Muster
Hi Hyper - with so many moving parts, it's hard to tell where the problem
is.
For myself, I bought a new computer and wireless router, and moved all my
domain names to GoDaddy - all at the same time. So when this problem with
posting to Interarchy started, nobody could help me. My ISP sent me to
Apple, Apple sent me to my ISP, etc.
When it gets bad, using my cell phone hotspot helps.
One thing you might do to mitigate the damage of working on a file then it
won't save (losing all your work), is build your files on your computer.
That way you have a full backup of your website and the only problem can
come from posting revised files.
It's a bad problem and you're the first person I've met who has had the
same problem!!

Re: BBEdit and Interarchy

2018-03-15 Thread Nori Muster
I have a similar problem that started about three years ago.
Looks like you make changes to your files directly on Interarchy(?) I
rework files on my computer then upload them to Interarchy.
When I try to post files to Interarchy, the window slows down and it can
take a long time for the file to post, it doesn't post at all.
It's almost like the server thinks I'm attacking it.
It will usually let me post a number of files, then it stops. Very
frustrating.
May be related to what you're experiencing.
The hotspot on my phone does better, but that sometimes gets blocked too.

HTML authoring - specifying a font

2018-03-15 Thread Nori Muster
I know how to set a typeface using
But is there a way to change the whole document at the same time, like to
put helvetica in the line?
