Just remove the SWCursor or HWCursor line from /etc/X11/Xorg.conf and it'll magically never appear unless you do a 'ctrl-alt-f1' - 'ctrl-alt-f7' then it randomly re-appears.. I am looking for a mechanical solution to put a sticker over the cursor!
