Re: [SlimDevices: Beta] Moving out of Documents and Settings?
I might be missing something obvious, but why not just run as a dedicated user? If you have a sq user for example, then the cache, prefs, etc will be in c:\ds\sq. No, it's not. We decided to put it in the All Users folder as users tend to switch between service and app mode and don't want to lose their settings. Re: [SlimDevices: Beta] Live365 Menu in SC7?
I've now upgraded to the release version of SC7, and the Live365 option still doesn't appear in the web interface, but does on my SB3. I can only see it by going to the /plugins/live365/index.html directly. Does anyone else have this problem, or is it just me? Re: [SlimDevices: Beta] 7.01 Scrollbars
It happens for me in playerwindow for selecting the player (like bonzes pict shows) and in the settings window (dosen't matter if you use a new tab or new window) in Players and Advanced section (all sections wich have the new style button in upper left corner). I didn't find a proper solution to this, but checked in a work around for 7.0.1. The scrollbars will only be used in the settings page - still odd in some places, but not as distracting as in the main window. That said the workaround will fail if your list of players is longer than your screen high. -- Michael ___ beta mailing list beta@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/beta

[SlimDevices: Beta] Rhapsody skips tracks
Anyone else notice Rhapsody skipping tracks during playback? Many times I'll listen to a group of songs and notice that some of them simply didn't play. Sometimes I'll hear a little blip of music at the beginning of a song before it skips to the next one. At least once I caught it skipping two consecutive tracks. [SlimDevices: Beta] buildme.pl - get revision #...
Hey so I'm just posting this looking for some feedback... I realized last night that I'm grabbing the Revision: x number from 'svn info' in the buildme.pl script to name our packages nightly. Thats actually not necessarily the most accurate revision # to grab, and I want to change it to grab the 'Last Changed Rev: ' number instead. However, I'm not an SVN expert so I'm looking for some clarification... 'Revision: ' is the most recent revision # for the entire repository, correct? Does that mean that 'Last changed Rev: ' is actually the last revision made to the directory you run 'svn info' in, and any directories underneath that? If so, it seems like grabbing the 'last changed rev' makes alot more sense... --Matt (sms build monkey) -- Diranged Diranged's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13773 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=44603 ___ beta mailing list beta@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/beta

Re: [SlimDevices: Beta] Rhapsody skips tracks
OK, here's the log showing where it skips a track (apparently). It played one, skipped one, played one. The lines starting with [14:20...] are presumably the successful play, then comes a sequence of [14:23...] where the error should have occurred. I assume it's the decoder underrun business. [SlimDevices: Beta] Playlist/Favorite inconsistencies
If I add an internet radio station to a playlist, and browse to the song details in the default skin, I see the File Format and Date Modified song info attributes. If I add the same radio station as a favorite and view the song details in the default skin, I see the Title and URL in song info attriburtes. Seems a bit inconsistent. I'd expect to see all four in both a favorite and playlist entry. Also, when I add a new playlist entry, all I get is a text box with no label. It seems to take the input as a URL, and makes the Title the same as the URL, but the title isn't editable after the playlist entry is created. I think this is wrong - it should be possible to enter and edit the Title and URL or local DB reference as two fields. It works if you Tune In to a URL, and then save the current playlist as a new playlist - then when I try to edit the playlist entry I see a Title and URL. BTW, I've just noticed too that if I press the Save Playlist button in the default skin, it prompts me to save the playlist as Untitled. If I try to save this, it says that I already have a playlist by that name and I have to confirm the overwrite. However, I didn't have an Untitled playlist that I could see in Browse Playlists. Debian testing just got a new version of mysql-server-50. This appears to have fixed the issue. However, *I had to do a clear database rescan in order for the fix to take hold*. Probably due to MySQL index black magic. I'll stress that again - steps to fix in Debian testing: 1) apt-get update; apt-get dist-upgrade 2) Tell SqueezeCenter to clear its database and rescan the music library Hope that helps!
