[Ontbirds] VARIED THRUSH - near Limoges, East of Ottawa
Hi Ontbirders, The Varied Thrush was seen again on January 20 at 1:40 this afternoon. Brendan Toews located the Varied Thrush as it was flying in towards the feeder. There were 7 of us who got brief views of the thrush when it came to the feeder at the back of the property. We had a covey of 7 Grey Partridges foraging in a field on Concession 21 in the Ste. Isadore area. Good birding, Kim Toews http://www.btoewsphotos.com Directions: VARIED THRUSH: From Ottawa, head east on 417 and get off at Exit 79 (Limoges). Turn left and then right on Calypso. Go for about 8+kms until address 988 Calypso. ___ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists - the provincial birding organization.
