If you just want to add an appointment you can press tab once to the add
button then follow the prompts from there. You can also press the left alt
key for the menu bar where you have more options to select from.

[Blind-Computing] Solution regarding converting of WORD-document from Office 2003 to an accessible PDF-file

2011-12-18 Thread Anders Boholdt-Petersen
Hi everyone,

First of all I will say very thanks for the answers you have send to me
regarding what program I could tried when I will convert a WORD-document
make in Office 2003 to an accessible PDF-file.

Now I have found a solution there make accessible PDF-files (you can see
headings, formatting etc. with JAWS)!

The Danish service called RoboBraille (http://www.robobraille.org) has,
among other things, on the basis of my approach implemented opportunity for
converting of a WORD-document (.DOC, .DOCX and .RTF) to tagged PDF-files.

You can read more on why RoboBraille can do for you on the website above
(the website is on English).

If you will convert a WORD-document to PDF:
1. Create a new e-mail.
2. Send the e-mail to conver...@robobraille.org
3. In the subject field write pdf
4. Do not write anything in the e-mail
5. Attach the file you will convert.
6. Send the e-mail.
7. After a chord time you will receive the PDF-file via your inbox.

If you have questions about RoboBraille, you can contact the owners via the
e-mail-address cont...@robobraille.org.

This e-mail is sent with permission from the team behind RoboBraille.
Have fun with the converting.

Regards,
Anders

[Blind-Computing] can't find a particular file in wordpad

2011-12-18 Thread Rosemarie Chavarria
Hi, everyone,

A very strange thing is happening in wordpad. I have a file called list of
songs that I tried to open. When I hit enter on it, all I got was “w” and
nothing more. When I tried to down-arrow to see if I could read anything, all I
got was the windows dinging sound.

Any ideas as to what could be happening? Any help will be very much appreciated.

Many thanks in advance.

Hi, David,

I wonder if you can remove that program through the context. I never had to
remove a virus before but it's just a thought I had.

Hi, David,

What antivirus program do you have? I posted my question to another list I'm
on. You could run whatever antivirus program you have. Try that and see if
that gets rid of the trojan.

Hi David.

Here's an article you might find helpful.

Also you can search google for Trojan/DOS alureon e and check out their
findings.

Hope this helps.
