I currently use a wireless USB keyboard with my iPad. It's also compatible
with an iPhone. Works great. Not bulky, and very mobile.

Hi.
You can print a document without going through the ms word print dialog.
I think it does open word to get the information but it closes write away

To print a document with windows explorer go to the file you want to print

Then arrow down until you see print and press enter.
To get adobe reader go to

it seams like they've changed there policy for trial virsion error fixing,
they use to fix it for a few days before asking to purchece it, & for the

and not just jaws, you can use allmost all it functions from the system

I found these fooling around with my Office 2010. They work on all of the
programs in the suite.

This might be old news to some of you but I enjoy the sound Outlook 2010
makes when it deletes or sends a message. Setting up the Sounds can be a
challenge but I can walk anyone interested through it.

I like to know what my computer is doing and this little .exe program does
that quite well.

Add that to the Andre Lewis sound scape and you really have things going on.

My husband bought me a new laptop and because he did not know that I was
using m s e, best buys talked him into buying web root, they installed it on
my computer. Because I did not know I tried to install jaws 13, jaws did
install but I have no speaking and when my unit is booted it goes to the
desktop find but once it reaches the desktop it freezes. I am thinking that
jaws and web root is clashing together.

some computers, if it isn't a custom machine, come bundled with a recovery

Hi Cathy,
I would highly recommend any of the HP scanners. Because I use mine to
scan textbooks, I go with a business scanner that cost me just over $900 US.
However their lower cost scanners work well for normal day to day scanning.
Also, if one installs the full scanner software it normally comes with a OCR
program called HP document scan. This is what I use to scan my textbooks for
class. So this is a cost savings over other systems.

Hi,
The scanner is an Epson Perfection V. 3300, and I got it at Staples for
about $100. It has four buttons on it, but I usually don't use them because
I do the scanning with the ABBYY Fine Reader software that came with the
scanner. It comes with some Epson software also for photos and other things,

but I mainly just use the OCR software.

Hi Cathy.
Openbook may have a few bells and whistles that Text Cloner does not have,
but it reads typed text quite well using your own screen reading program
which is what I want. I highly recommend the trial version which is free
and is the full version. It meets my needs quite nicely.

Hello.
Before you decide on a scanning program, check out
http://www.readingmadeez.com/products/TextClonerPro.html
I've been using it for several years. It does the job quite nicely for me
and at a fraction of the cost of other programs. Cost is $99.95 and you can

download a trial version to check out.

If it is anything like mine you will have to go to the contacts screen of
skype and route jaws to pc and hit control home and arrow down to where it
shows the request. At this point left click on it and it should bring it up
and you can use normal navigation keys to accept the request.

Mac computer, or indeed use one now.

Well, to say it's better is not a fair statement. Voice over, the screen
reader for the mac is very good! But it all depends on your preference.
I've been using a mac for about 2 months, and love it. The only down fall
for me is the internet
But that's all suppose to change with the release of lion today is suppose
to take care of all of that. With letter navigation on the web, and the
launch pad on the doc. I run windows virtually on my mac, but only do that
so I can still use the Microsoft suite, but use my mac for everything else.
I use my mac cold turkey for the first month so I could get use to it all at
once without trying to jump to windows when I got frustrated with the mac.
But I am not sorry I made the switch. The difference between voice over and
jaws is night and day. Voice over is a great alternative, and will be equal
to jaws one day, but in my opinion, it's not quite there yet. Good luck

I am able to lightscribe discs all of the time. I use Nero with jaws 11 and
have no problem. You do have to buy a special disc which is called a
lightscribe disc. The discs are a little more expensive than the regular
ones.
