Hello, I had no idea there was a specific interface feature you could or were supposed to use. I have Avast 7.0 and have to use Jaws to even get it to read. Hi Anna, If you install the fresh copy of Avast over your old copy, it may not erase your old settings. So I would suggest uninstalling the old copy first and then install the fresh copy. I would always go to the start menu, type the word disk, and down arrow till you hear disk defray. Hit enter on it. Tab till you hear the list of disks available to defray, arrow to the one you want and click the defragment disk button. Portia. Hi Yvonne, I dont really find carrot browsing useful, so I never use it lol. Here is the description from Windows help and support of carrot browsing. Select text and move around a webpage with a keyboard You can use keys on your keyboard---including Home, End, Page Up, Page Down, the arrow keys, and Tab---to navigate through the buttons, content, and text entry fields on most webpages. This feature is called Caret Browsing. It basically just puts a system curser so you can use those keys, but again, whether thats useful depends on the end user. Portia.
