Sometimes I want music and other on the speakers and sometimes in my
headset
with Jaws, so I had just made a shortcut and hot key to the Sound applet
for

changing on the fly. It lands on the list of cards, I'll arrow down to my
speakers, hit apps key and arrow to set as default.

In Jaws you can set it to use it's own too of course.

Hi dave yes I have a USb sound card. It is not really a sound card as we
know it but sends the music to the stereo. So it is considered a sound
card.

The reason for the sound switch program is so that I don't have to go to
control panel, sounds, and switch to the audio engine when I want to go
down

stairs and listen to the stereo. And when I am up at the computer I want
sound to come out of the audio connexant in case I go to an internet site
that has a youtube site and need to listen to it. I hope this sorts out
any

confusion.

I'm a bit confused, you have 2 cards and they both have a predefined
purpose

in life if I understand correctly. Why do you have a program that switches
them and does this program change your system default sound card?

Subject: [Blind-Computing] jaws and sound cards

I have two sound cards. One for my music and one main sound card that is
in

the computer for jaws. The music card is a USB audio Engine and the main
card is a audio connnexant. In the jaws sound cards sub menu of jaws, I
have

audio connexant checked for the jaws sound card. Now I have this little
program called sound switch. It allows me to press the f11 key to switch
between sound cards. Thing is when I switch to the audio engine jaws quits
coming out of the computer and goes to the audio engine. It says in the
jaws

help that jaws should stay with the sound card that is checked. How can I
get this to work right.

[Blind-Computing] outlook express identeties and arrors

2011-10-28 Thread james hooper
greetings all the subject says it all.
I notice that if you just have one identity which of course is the main when
you first run outlook express it seems to be okay.
I mean you don't get many errors when trying to delete messages.
however, if you add identities, you start having issues. anyone played with
this is their a standard rule or advice in terms of how many one should have
before you start getting in to trouble. I have 3 different email addresses
wish their was some software that would allow me to access all 3 with outlook
express.

You should be able to do this but it will depend on who the server is for
those email addresses. Sometimes there are special things that have to be
done in order to access them such as with G mail.

so rick is it easy to assume then it could be a windows problem not
outlook express? it is weird I'll be going along and deleting messages then
itsays outlook express has created an error report send error report
don't send. it seems to happen most when I switch identities. --

Hi James,
I have multiple identities in Outlook Express,
and don't have the problems you are talking about.
Some identities even have more than one e-mail account in them.
You can find more information on Outlook Express at:
