[Blind-Computing] Short Cut Keys For Skype?
Hi I am using Skype with JAWS 11. I installed the JAWS scripts but I haven't figured out the short cut keys for answering and hanging up on Skype connections. Try alt plus pageup for answering and alt plus pagedown or escape key for hanging up. Generally, in skype's own options, you'd need to go enable global hotkeys, and then it will be alt + pageUp to answer, and alt + pageDown to hang up/end a call. I think in tools and options you will have to enable the hot keys. You can also go to the call menu with (alt a) and scroll through that list paying attention to the letter that follows each menu selection. If I am not mistaken to hang up a call it is the letter n not too sure on answering. I always go to the Skype Icon if the phone is ringing in the system tray pressing enter on this if the phone is ringing will give you an option to see who is calling and answer. HTH J.P. Hello there; To enable shortcut keys, Do the following; 1, open skype; 2, alt+t=tools, O=options, 3, you will land on; general settings; 4, press, ctrl+end-key=hotkeys, 5, tab one time enable hotkeys, the box is unchecked, check with spacebar, now tab to save.
