Yep, that's what mine is. I just realized it when you mentioned that name. I wondered if it could be a warning like that. I guess we'll find out if or when the battery poops out. I got it in 2005 and never had this problem till a few days ago. I haven't tried to run it without the battery yet. I did change some of Beyond Sight's settings in the power management area, but I did that about a year ago, so I don't think that would cause this silly message now. Beyond Sight puts their systems together, so the laptop has no name brand. These are created specifically for the blind and have no monitors. As long as this doesn't cause any other problems, it's no big deal. I just thought someone might have some idea of what might be going on. That very message came on while I used that laptop and I had to check that switch which was in the right position, but the message was still present and I kept the laptop on house currant for a few days and after having it plugged in overnight even for couple of days it went away..
