Re: [Blind-Computing] shopping on amazon

Hi Kathy,
I have shopped allot on Amazon, and E-Bay. They both have their strong
points. The one thing I might worn about on Amazon is that you may want to
be sure the "1 click Ordering" is turned off. I have my account set up to
always verify witch card I want to charge the order too. That way I am not
accidentally charging extra things. Smile. It is always a good idea to
double check your shopping cart in case you may have unknowingly added
something. I have done this a few times before learning how the site works.
Over all I love shopping on amazon. It is wonderful to read the descriptions
of what a product is. It puts us on equal footing with the sighted folks.
Well, accept for any pictures.
 Happy shopping.

God bless,
Mark

God Loves you!

Good morning,

I have never shopped on line before and I wanted some advice in how to go
about it. Do I need extra security or anything like that. I am wanting to
try amazon.

Amazon.com is a very reputable site and you should not have any problems.
No matter what sites you visit on the Internet, the same advice applies:
Make sure that your operating systems (Windows, OSX, Linux) is kept
up-to-dates with all patches; Install a good security program, such as
Microsoft Security Essentials for Windows; use safe browsing habits; don't
open email attachments from people that you do not know.

Most important, don't spend too much on Amazon. It's real easy to do.

John
