Re: [Blind-Computing] All those wonderful social sites
Hi, Yes the need to actually learn a browser in this case is truly a myth. The only real difference you'll see is that you use control L to open a location in stead of Control plus O in IE. But once you get used to it, the Control plus L keystroke works in IE as well. The page loads with Firefox and Jaws are much faster too. Re: [Blind-Computing] All those wonderful social sites
Hello. Now the captchas are not a problem for us. the best tool that is helping us to solve this problem, is called Web visum. I know that many of those who are in this list, are users of this great tool. this add-on for firefox is helping many blind persons around the world, and I say that the creator of Web visum is now living in the paradise. I mean that this person who I don't know his or her name, is making an excelent thing for the blind comunitty. now we don't have to suffer if we want to register in a forum, a social network, a site to upload torrents etc. if the site requires captcha, then we can sighn up without the help of human eyes. I'm writing these words because someone start talking about the problem with the captchas, so I just want to make this parenthesis.
