Hi,

Another way to pull all the files with the m4a extension in your folder is
to do the following:

1. While in the folder, do ALT+V (as victor) for the view menu 2. Press the
letter P (as popcorn) to group by sub menu 3. Enter on type to sort all the
extension together.

Now you will find all the m4a extension together.

HTH

Take care.

Is there a way to select a file with a certain extension?
For example, if I was in a folder called "Thomas Music", and there
were about 150 files total in that folder, and I wanted to delete
all files with the extension .m4a and leave the other files in place
with their extension called, .mp3.

Other than using the ctrl plus space bar.
Can this be done?
Thank you for your help.

Press Tab until you get to the Search edit box or press Control + e to get
there. Enter ".m4a", without the quotes. I hit Enter at this point, but I
do not think it is necessary. Press Tab or Shift + Tab until you get back
to the list view. Now the list should be much smaller and only contain
files with that extension. If you want, you can select all of these .m4a
files with Control + a, and delete them by hitting the Delete key.
