I Have an interesting fellow on blind like me this week. I really
suppose I should let you decide that for your self but I for one
found Him interesting. His name is Neal Ewers and He hails from
Madison Wisconsin. He is quite an audio file and I thought had a
couple of good stories to tell.

The two don's and I did the blind handyman show with out our Tom
again, more about that later. Guest is our own Dan Rossi and he told
about putting down tongue and groove flooring.
Now about Tom. He had a simple hart operation this afternoon and
should be released some time tomorrow if everything goes as planned.
If they keep Him I will post his room number on the list and you can
all call Him.
We always want your comments about the shows and, here ar links to listen.

On blind like me this week we did another double. The show starts with an
interview with Robert Mc Coy from New Brunswick Canada. Robert lost his vision
at around 30, went to university and earned a couple of degrees. Our second
interview is with a lady who I no as Jennie and I won't attempt Her last name.
On blind like me this week the two Don's and I were in attendance and Tom
was on the phone again. Our guest talked about automobile maintenance and
seamed to no cars very well. Unfortunately his name escapes me at the moment.
his name in fact is Larry Stansifer
So here are the links to the shows .

From: Phil Parr

Well, we stumbled thru another blind handyman show Tuesday afternoon. Only
ones in attendance were my self and Don Shaw. Tom had chair and car problems
and so, Don pat didn't have a ride. It was a beautiful day and I expected a
quorum but it was not to be. We had Don and Tom on the phone and it all worked
out fine. Our guest was Mark Due from ST Louis and he talked about his rent
houses and the large deck He just finished.
Blind like me was a two fir or maybe even a three fir. The first thirty
minutes was taken up with an interview Carla Thompson and I did a while back
with Tiffanies Black. Tiffany's clame to fame is, She makes soaps and body oils
from scratch. Second half was with our old friend Bob Bartlet from Houston. Bob
talked about a job training session the Houston lighthouse is having on April
28.
Hope you enjoy the shows and, any and all feedback will be appreciated.
Now here are links to listen or just download both shows.

[BlindHandyMan] Fw: Shows this week.

2007-03-01 Thread Don

- Original Message -
From: Phil Parr
Hello their and welcome to March the month they say, comes in like a lamb
and goes out like a lion, or is it the other way round, and is this even the
correct month.
As for the shows this week well, sometime in January this year the wrong
shows got aired on a c b radio so here are the shows that never got run. We
were going to assemble to do the handyman show as usual on Tuesday but, thru a
series of mishaps we never were in the same place at the same time.
It's a long story and I won't boar you with the details unless you want them.
This weeks blind handyman show contained an interview with our old friend
Charles Richard from up state New York. Remember he is the fellow who owns the
old house that is in the historical register.
As for blind like me I interview a fellow who has done some things most
blind persons might shy away from. At this time I will say, the stories told on
blind like me may or may not have some grains of truth in them, decide for your
self. I believe you will find this person entertaining whether you believe all
He says or not.
Give us a listen and pleas let us no what you like or don't like about the
shows.
If you would like to be a guest on either show pleas write me at
   [EMAIL PROTECTED]
We ar always looking for guests and it is a painless fun thing to do.
Thanks to all of you for listening and supporting us. Now here are links for
listening and downloading both shows.

This weeks blind like me show features a fine entertainer from Nashville. No
we didn't have Ronnie Millsap but this lady is every bit as talented. Her name
is Sherry Williams and we played five songs of hers and talked about Her life
and, of course, the fickle music business.
Again a good week for ladies as our guest on the blind handyman was Betsy
Whitney from Hawaii. Well yes, we ask what the weather was like but, you will
half to listen to the show to find out.
If you listen on a c b radio remember, they are running another two hour
program each weekend along with our shows. This means blind like me and blind
handyman air six times each weekend.
With all that in mind, here are some links to the shows, enjoy.

From: Phil Parr

Tuesday here in the loan star state was cloudy and cold but, in spite of
that we all were here for the show. Our guest is Walter Gramza from up state
New York. Walter makes his living tuning and repairing pianos and I think does
quite well at it. I am planning to replace the key covers on a piano in the
studio so, we got off on that for probably too long. Maybe we should bring
Walter back next week for another session so He can tell about some new
equipment He is using in his business.
On blind like me Carla and I talked with a fellow who makes things out of
clay, in other words, He is a potter. His name is Garry and I won't even try
his last name. Garry was sighted up until a few years ago but, He continues to
make pottery with very little vision.
If you listen on a c b radio, they are running another show along with our
offerings. This means the shows run six times instead of twelve times each
weekend. Anyway, hope you can find us somewhere and, here is a link to the
podcast and or, download.
