He carefully measured brain weights, and after many years' accumulation of much data he observed that the average weight of a man's brain was 1350 grams, that of a woman only 1250 grams. This at once, he argued, was infallible proof of the mental superiority of men over women. Throughout his life he defended this hypothesis with the conviction of a zealot. I was about to expect a message on the Georgian definition of anti-Semitism in Jefferson County. Um. this is a Hoonish story. They may have had help from the Tytlal, as they did not exclusively watch just Three Stooges recordings. The point is, that to a human, this was intended be an insult. To a pre-Streaker Hoon, it would be considered an insult until the full meaning became known. But this is a post Streaker story that the "Hoonish Renaissance" is using to try to break the ice with Terran Humans. It's a new universe out there. But as the next Uplift story is supposed to be an expanded Temptation, it'll be a while before we find out if this story could actually be used. Uplift Urbane Legend #3 (Hoonmor) (Hoonish humor)
As far as it can be ascertained, the following story is just a myth: Back when Hoon-Human relations were still ripe from the NuDawn incident, a drunk and under arrest human was brought before a Hoon official that was one of just a few to have learned a bit of Anglic. "I am going to ask you just one question. Do..." The human looked up at the Hoon's face and interrupted. "Save your breath. I have no idea where Mrs Calabash is."
