Comment #5 on issue 2038 by philehol...@gmail.com: Czech translation of learning never builds http://code.google.com/p/lilypond/issues/detail?id=2038 To verify this, you will need to be able to run make doc (James?). If you run make doc, and then, without further changes, you run make doc again, you should not see the output pause while it remakes the cs documentation. The output will also not have the line "Must remake target `[snip]/build/Documentation/./out-www/learning/index.cs.html'" ___ bug-lilypond mailing list bug-lilypond@gnu.org https://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-lilypond

Updates: Status: Fixed Comment #3 on issue 2038 by philehol...@gmail.com: Czech translation of learning never builds http://code.google.com/p/lilypond/issues/detail?id=2038 JC prepared a patch that changes all instances of "Začátek" in the Czech docs to "Top". I've tested this and it correctly now builds the index.cs.html file on the first run of make doc, and subsequent runs of make doc no longer rebuild it unnecesarily. This takes about 10% off the time taken to run make doc with no documentation changes. When Issue 2028 is fixed, it will be over 25% of the time saved. I've pushed a patch to staging as commit a91525e8846d5f804d3c5516100aa9947f20e833 ___ bug-lilypond mailing list bug-lilypond@gnu.org https://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-lilypond

Comment #2 on issue 2038 by philehol...@gmail.com: Czech translation of learning never builds http://code.google.com/p/lilypond/issues/detail?id=2038 Apologies - I've done some more work and concluded that the search box thing was a red herring. If you copy the entire command above and paste it into a terminal at build/Documentation/cs, then all the updated cs split learning docs are made in build/Documentation/out-www/learning _except_ index.cs.html. Do the same with all the other languages (changing cs in the command, and using the correct source dir) and the index.lang.html file is built. Since this file isn't built, the make doc finds it's not there every time and tries to build it, without actually succeeding. I think it must be a part of the input files that mean that no index is made, but I can't find it and I'm not an expert.
