I've tested this and it correctly now builds the index.cs.html file on the first run of make doc, and subsequent runs of make doc no longer rebuild it unnecesarily. This takes about 10% off the time taken to run make doc with no documentation changes. When Issue 2028 is fixed, it will be over 25% of the time saved. If you copy the entire command above and paste it into a terminal at build/Documentation/cs, then all the updated cs split learning docs are made in build/Documentation/out-www/learning _except_ index.cs.html. Do the same with all the other languages (changing cs in the command, and using the correct source dir) and the index.lang.html file is built. Since this file isn't built, the make doc finds it's not there every time and tries to build it, without actually succeeding. I think it must be a part of the input files that mean that no index is made, but I can't find it and I'm not an expert. If we look in git/Documentation, /cs is the only language missing a search box.
