All - I will be compiling the Muckrace report shortly after I return from Michigan, where I am helping a friend clear out the house of his recently-deceased sister. The ibis is going into the list as "Plegadis sp.," which is how my team reported it. I don't believe anyone could have been 100% certain that it was a Glossy. The complete Muckrace list will, as usual, be posted on the Friends of the Montezuma Wetlands Complex website, and the full report on the event will appear in "Muckrace Musings," also on the website. [cayugabirds-l] 2011 Muckrace
The Cayuga Bird Club wishes to sponsor two teams for this years' Muckrace. As Jane Graves posted recently, this event begins Friday, September 9th at 7:00 pm and covers the Montezuma Complex. The Club will pay the registration fee for one Competitive team (3 or more birders) and either one Youth team (ages 9 - 16) or one Low-Carbon Team.
