Re: [OSL | CCIE_Voice] Ring tone for different ANI

2010-05-05 Thread Sergio Polizer

Ash,

It is for CME or CUCM?

If CME you could try two dial-peer w/ different answer address configured (as
you know, do not use incoming called number at any other dial-peer on router).

For one of dial-peer configured, you could transform the called number for a
number that is also associate to the destination ephone. And finally, you need
associate the changed number with the ephone using the feature ring button (f).
I did not try but It would reproduce a three short ring at the line.

For CUCM I can not imagine a way to do that, Let us know it work or if someone
has any other suggestion.

HTH,

Sergio.

Subject: [OSL | CCIE_Voice] Ring tone for different ANI

Hi all,

Is it possible to set ringtone at your IP phone for different ANI?

Like when a call comes from Customer A, a different ringtone is used at
the IP phone and when a call comes from Customer B the ringtone is
different.

Can we do it through UCCX or is there any other way to achieve this..

Thanks

Ash

Is possible to get Mwi for SIP Phones during SRST?

There is no mwi command at voice register global/pool for do it as I do when
CUE is integrated with CUCME.

Thanks for your comments,

[OSL | CCIE_Voice] SIP Supplementary Services

2010-05-05 Thread Berry, Matthew J.
Here's my question:
What kind of real-world (or lab) scenario would require disabling SIP
supplementary services on an IOS gateway?

Quote from CUCM SRND:

SIP Refer or SIP 302 Moved Temporarily messages can be used for supplementary
services such as call
transfer or call forward on Unified CME or Unified CM to instruct the
transferee (referee) or phone
being forwarded (forwardee) to initiate a new call to the transfer-to
(refer-to) target or forward-to target.
No hairpinning is needed for call transfer or call forward scenarios when the
SIP Refer or SIP 302 Moved
Temporarily message is supported.

However, supplementary-service must be disabled if there are certain extensions
that have no DID
mapping or if Unified CM or Unified CME does not have a dial plan to route the
call to the DID in the
SIP 302 Moved Temporarily message. When supplementary-service is disabled,
Unified CME hairpins
the calls or sends a re-invite SIP message to Unified CM to replace the media
path to the new called party
ID. Both signaling and media are hairpinned, even when multiple Unified CMEs
are involved for further
call forwards. The supplementary-service can also be disabled for transferred
calls. In this case, the SIP
Refer message will not be sent to Unified CM, but the transferee (referee)
party and transfer-to party
(refer-to target) are hairpinned.

Note Supplementary services can be disabled with the command no
supplementary-service sip
moved-temporarily or no supplementary-service sip refer under voice service
voip or dial-peer
voice voip.

Thanks!

Re: [OSL | CCIE_Voice] SIP Supplementary Services

2010-05-05 Thread Vik Malhi
That is a deep deep question. We don¹t do real world here ;-)

What the doc you have quoted from is saying is that you also want to disable
Refer moved in the following example:

Phone A is registered to UCM
Phone B is registered to CME
Phone C is a phone not registered to either the CME or UCM.

UCM and CME are integrated via SIP.

Phone A calls Phone B. After talking for a while Phone B transfers to Phone
C.

When SIP REFER supp services are being used, UCM will be told to make a call
to Phone C (Invite w Replaces). If UCM can¹t call Phone C then the transfer
will fail. In this case you should turn off SIP supp services so that
hairpin transfer will be used on the CME router- this does not require the
UCM to make a call to Phone C. The down side is the media will be proxied
through the CME.

Re: [OSL | CCIE_Voice] Lab5c - 91 calls to Remote Zone

2010-05-05 Thread Vik Malhi
Tech Prefix is not required for routing to remote zones.

The configuration on the remote zone is invisible to you and hence you will
have to be told EXACTLY what digits to send to the PSTN zone. If the owner
of the PSTN zone requires you to send ³12345² then you send ³12345² and
leave the method of how the call is routed to the remote gateway down to the
remote gatekeeper configuration. Maybe the remote gateways are registered
with the tech prefix ³1² or ³12² or ³123² or maybe he is using 1# as a
default technology- we don¹t really care.

Re: [OSL | CCIE_Voice] UCCX Skill Groups

2010-05-05 Thread Cristobal Priego
i have a question on this matter.

if you have a single CSQ with multiple skills.
on the script is there a step that will tell me the skills of the agents
that are logged in and based on the result , i can route the call
appropriately?
What I mean is. if I have 1 CSQ = CustomerService and multiple skills
assigned to that CSQ
Licensing 6
Join 5
Other 5
Webminar 5

If I have agents with different skills levels configured

agent1: Licensing 6, Join 5, Other 5, Webinar 5
agent2: Licensing 6, Join 6, Other 5, Webinar 5
agent3: Licensing 6, Join 5, Other 8, Webinar 8

is there a step that will tell me the agent with the highest available
competencies for the calls and based on that send the call to VM or to the
Queue ?

thanks

scenario will work, granted the agent skills are equal to or above the
minimum competence. I should have added that.

 Hi Amy,

I’m having problems to understand Scenario 1. I thought that Minimum
Competence area were a place to set the minimum requirements that an agent
has to match to be select to answer all calls at CSQ. E.g. if Hqph2 has a
Skill for TUTOR=9, He won't be listed as an available resource for that
 queue.

Is possible to set via Script a minimum agent skill that a call requires?

I mean suppose two calls at same queue. First need agent with BOOK skill=10
and other skill=5, How do I route first call to agents with BOOK skill 10?

The only way that I see to do That is with Scenario 2.

I would appreciate your comments on this.

 Thank you very much, Sergio.

 Matthew,

 Scenario 1-
If you have a single CSQ and two skills and your agent is assigned both
skills. If you would like one skill to have priority over the other - you
would set the “minimum competance” value to be higher on the the skill you
want priority when assigning that skill to the CSQ as depicted in this
screenshot below. In this example there are two skills assign to this CSQ.
The “TUTOR” skill will take priority over the “BOOK” skill.

 Scenario 2-
If you have a two CSQ’s, each CSQ is assigned a single skill and your agent
is assigned both skills. If you would like one CSQ to have priority over
the other - you could set this in the script by using the “Set Priority”
step as shown in screenshot below. In this case the “BOOKCSQ” would take
 priority over the “TUTORCSQ”.

 HTH,
 Amy

We have the PSTN gatekeeper set up correctly as shown in the output below.

There is no PSTN phone registered. The India line is on the PSTN phone. Get
an IP Blue client registered to the PSTN-WAN router- you can enter the MAC
address of your IP Blue / 79XX phone on proctorlabs.com and this will add
register a PSTN phone after which the call to India will work.

Since you are receiving LCF from the GK, the remote GK is working fine.

The problem is when the UCM is sending a SETUP message to the PSTN gateway.
 Nothing to do with GK.

add more detailed explanations where necessary. It has been a difficult job

 Dear Tom,

Actually I bought both INE and IPE.
I want to say that IPE matriel is much better with more and more indepth
tasks and solution and more explanations.
The point that the proctor guide in some labs - especially volume II - not
100 % accurate , so you will have to try a little .

Also I recommend you IPE Walkthrough videos, which is a must [ I heared
some of volume one videos and it is really excellent].

For INE the best is thier VoD by Josh Fink which is really very good.

In brief, The IPE Workbooks 1,2 are the best along with walkthrough
 video's.

Note: I already tried lab last month with no luck and found IPE material
is very good along with the Outstanding bootcamp with Vik.

 Thanks and Best Regards,
 Wael Agina
