Hi All,

I don't know what to say or whom to complain to?

This's the second day I'm having difficulty in working in my online sessions 
with Proctorlabs vracks.

I contacted supp...@ipexpert.com and supp...@proctorlabs.com and afterhours 
support but no one answering

Yesterday I asked  the support if I can extend my current session by booking a 
new following session but no one answered. I tried booking  a new following 
session hoping it will be linked up automatically but unfortunately it didn't.

So after that I had to stop my work after feeling frustrated.

Today I booked three consecutive sessions but the same problem happened again 
but in a different form.
 I noticed the remaining time is 3 hrs and 40 minutes in the first session and 
informed the support guys but no one is answering.
After finishing my first session, I thought it will be disconnected but the 
remaining time changed to 24 hours. Okay feeling happy with the new hours but 
then maybe after about 30 minutes I found my telnet session got disconnected 
and I can't access them or access the servers and after refreshing my account 
at Proctorlabs site , I found the pod has changed. So means everything has gone.

The sessions were not linked-up as what they told us.

I just wonder whom to complain in such cases?

BTW,I also  schedule sessions in the other competitor company vracks but to say 
the truth I found their support and response are very good. Not only that but 
they gave me back my credits and more.

All,

I had a very frustrating session this morning. I could not login to the 
Publisher, even though I could connect with the browser. Didn't work in IE or 
Firefox. I could log into the subscriber but saw that there was a configuration 
already loaded. When I tried to save any changes, just got 'Connecting' in the 
browser, no further. Never could do anything with CallManager.

I reverted and loaded two other labs, same issue. It seems the Pod29 was 
extremely messed up.

Saturday's session loaded a completely different lab from the one I requested. 
Had to revert and load again, 25 minutes down the drain.

Proctorlabs Support, I am requesting two vouchers for the 8 hour session that I 
couldn't work on. There are some serious bugs in your lab gear.

- what is the right procedure to do  after change the ip address os 
service-engine 0/0
 
do i need to do ser ser 0/0 reload  or ser ser 0/0 reset so that CUE can 
pick up the new ip address ?
i heard we need to do 2 times due to the bug in CUE , is that true?

[OSL | CCIE_Voice] All Labs Table and Proctor Labs Vlahs

In setting up my sessions I've noticed the it doesn't appear that when you 
pre-load the configuration the proctor labs vlans match up with the vlan naming 
convention as to what's in the all labs table on the ipexpert site. Such as in 
all labs table hq server vlan is 30, but on preloaded config vlan is 103. Ip 
subnet matches up but vlan ID does not. Is this by design?  If so, should I 
chang the vlan tag in the actual lab?

What L2 overhead do you use for frf.12 and MLP when you calculate number of 
calls over a link? Different providers have different approach around this. QoS 
SRND says Frame Relay adds 4 bytes of Layer 2 overhead; Frame Relay with 
FRF.12 adds 8 bytes. With frf.12 voice packets don't get fragmented, so do you 
use 4 bytes for your calculation or 12 or some other number? For those who have 
done this in lab and got 100% for QoS, can they please advise what value they 
used?

In setting up my sessions I've noticed the it doesn't appear that when you 
pre-load the configuration the proctor labs vlans match up with the vlan naming 
convention as to what's in the all labs table on the ipexpert site. Such as in 
all labs table hq server vlan is 30, but on preloaded config vlan is 103. Ip 
subnet matches up but vlan ID does not. Is this by design?  If so, should I 
chang the vlan tag in the actual lab?

Hi Karen,

Loopback 0 subnet mask is /32 so it's only one host.

If you want to test this idea, try using another interface like voice vlan 
interface or a new loopback interface with /24 mask.

For changing the ip address of the cue after it's been up, I think you need to 
reload the cue. I haven't experiment this myself but this is what I hear and 
one time reload for this is enough. I remember one time in proctor labs , I 
couldn't reach R3 lo0 as the ntp server during the cue wizard and I had to 
reload the cue once , then it worked.

do i need to do ser ser 0/0 reload  or ser ser 0/0 reset so that CUE can 
pick up the new ip address ?
i heard we need to do 2 times due to the bug in CUE , is that true?

related to the mask.

I know how to configure it by going to RTMT --- Alert Central --
MGCPDCHANNEL is down --- Set Alert/Propertis

but I don't know how to make a single alert to avoid excessive e-mail?
