RE: Adobe Phonegap Build question...

2015-01-07 Thread Eric Roberts

That's what it was...I was reading the phonegap build instructions and they
said to just put the www folder contents in build (from a Cordova app) and
the recent version of Cordova moved the config.xml out of the www folder and
put it into the root. Once I put a copy of the config.xml in the root (the
www folder in the orginal Cordova app) and configured that properly, things
worked just fine :-D

It looks for the widget ID in config.xml and since I didn't have a
config.xml in the code root, it apparently defaulted to something that was
the same in both of the apps.

Thanks!
Eric

Not a PhoneGap dev but maybe something that ID's the app is set the same,
perhaps in the config.xml?

Hydration on the Build site works perfectly. The problem I am having
is that if I try to load the 2 apps I have created on the site on a
device, iOS or Android.doesn't matter, the device looks at the app as
the same app even though they are 2 different apps with 2 different
file names. According to the website, they both have different app
id's. Am I missing something in the setup? I am an absolute noob
when it comes to mobile apps, so I am kinda blindly poking around. If
anyone knows what I am doing wrong, I would appreciate the help.
