Re: CF calendar code driven by JavaScript
I use the commercial version of that calendar and wrote a custom tag to work with it and the framework we use at work. It is pretty simple to write a tag for a wrapper around their calendar. Another MX7 Oddity: String index out of range: -2
Hi - thanks for the last pointer, it helped. I have a CFINSERT that always worked in previous CF versions, but now generates an error "String index out of range: -2". I have verified that all of the variables being inserted are correct. The CFINSERT: This is all CF that was working solidly for years before the move to MX7. ~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;203748912;27390454;j Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Talk/message.cfm/messageid:309294 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Talk/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.4

CF calendar code driven by JavaScript
Hi all, Boy, there are tons of calendars out on the web, javascript calendars, coldfusion calendars, etc. What I'm looking for specifically, I haven't found yet, so I thought I'd see if any of you have one or have seen it. I'm looking for coldfusion calendar code that is driven by javascript. Meaning that when the page load, coldfusion generates the current month on the screen (or the month for whatever date you specify), but the links to change the month and year are all javascript driven and the page does not RELOAD. Ultimately, I need to fix it so I can select one or more days in the calendar, but I can add that functionality myself easily enouhg. It's the calendar generation code that utilizes javascript to control the month and year that I'm really looking for. TIA! Re: Report Builder Question
Bummer. I have played around with this, and it is still causing problems. I created an invoice that I know will have two pages. Then, in the page footer, I hardcoded the print when condition to only print when the calc.PAGE_NUMBER is 2. This does hide/show the page footer on the appropriate page. However, it still reserves the space on the first page. So instead of the report printing the footer twice, it just has a blank spot on the first page and the real information on the second page. Any thoughts on this? Does anyone know the point man at Adobe that I could ping for some help? Moving from previous versions to MX7...required form fields?
I was surprised just how broken MX7 made all my pre-existing CF. One annoyance in particular is that my required form fields no longer function - though the page still causes the server to generate the validation scripts. Has anyone else encountered this? Workarounds - suggestions? I massaged the CFINPUT tags a bit to what seems to be CFs preferred format: From: To: Still no longer works. From the generated page: function _CF_checkregistration(_CF_this) { //reset on submit _CF_error_exists = false; _CF_error_messages = new Array(); _CF_error_fields = new Object(); _CF_FirstErrorField = null; //form element first required check if( !_CF_hasValue(_CF_this['first'], "TEXT", false ) ) { _CF_onError(_CF_this, "first", _CF_this['first'].value, "Name is required!"); _CF_error_exists = true; } //form element last required check if( !_CF_hasValue(_CF_this['last'], "TEXT", false ) ) { _CF_onError(_CF_this, "last", _CF_this['last'].value, "Last Name is required!"); _CF_error_exists = true; } etc. Looks like the page on the old server. ~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;203748912;27390454;j Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Talk/message.cfm/messageid:309280 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Talk/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.4
UID returned by "cfexchangecontact" doesn't match any id returned by event sink object
I am trying to sync a shared contacts folder in MS Exchange 2003 with a SQL database for an app in ColdFusion. I setup a field in the contacts table in my SQL database to link each contact to a contact in Exchange. I will be updating the Exchange store using CF8's exchange tags. SQL server will be updated using event syncs. I have compared all of the columns in the IExStoreDispEventInfo object generated by a sink "OnSave" event but none of those fields match the "UID" value returned using tag. I would like to know how I can get the same ID returned by the tag from the sink "OnSave" event or how to get the unique Id in the sink event object using one of CF8's exchange tags. RE: (ot) Ok, feeling a little stupid, but...
I did go ahead and email tech support. The odd thing is, however, is that I went ahead and set up another site and I can access it just fine! I think I'll just delete the trouble site and setup the site and transfer the files again, too. Re: cfhttp: HTTPServerError
It turns out it was a problem with a fix we had put in the day before, where we had to break one loop into two, and variables from the first loop (affiliate-specific variables) were needed in the second one but not reset. So, when I was doing a loop over a structure to generate the http parameters, some variables didn't exist. It would have been nice if it had given mean error like "Variable A undefined in structure B" as it tends to do outside of cfhttp, but at least I tracked it down. That's 7 hours of my life I'm never getting back. RE: (ot) Ok, feeling a little stupid, but...
For all sites, "anonymous access" is enabled and "Authenticated Access" is set to "Integrated Windows authentication". The "Default domain" is set to a backslash "\" as is mentioned below, but is currently "grayed out" and inaccessible until the "Authenticated Access" is changed from "Integrated Windows Authentication" to ".NET Passport Authentication". Under "Authenticated Access" this statement is made giving guidance: "For the following authentication methods, username and password are required when: - anonymous access is disabled, or - access is restricted using NTFS access control lists" Some of the messages I have received after not entering credentials when prompted upon trying to access a website have mentioned the website's access being controlled by "Access Control Lists", but that's not the latest message I've received. Just now I got: You are not authorized to view this page You do not have permission to view this directory or page using the credentials that you supplied. Please try the following: Contact the Web site administrator if you believe you should be able to view this directory or page. Click the Refresh button to try again with different credentials. HTTP Error 401.1 - Unauthorized: Access is denied due to invalid credentials. Internet Information Services (IIS) Thanks for the help.
