spreadsheetSetColumnWidth ingnored
Hi, It seems that setting spreadsheetSetColumnWidth(myXLS,1,50) has no effect if the cell contents would be visually clipped. Anyone encountered this? CFMX on Mac OSX? In production?
Sean (Corfield), I know you've played around with CFMX on OSX. I'm interested in any production installations that have been done, any big gotchas, and the prognosis for MM official support for OSX in the future. I need this for an educational client. I'm also interested in anyone's experience with MySQL in enterprise situations, pros and cons - especially focused on MySQL for CMS. I happen to like MS SQL for CMS for ease of remote administration and it's support for bind parameters - makes a good match with tools such as ActivEdit. How is MySQL in this regard? What available remote admin tools exist for MySQL and which are best? RE: Run CF Studio 4 and 4.5 on same machine?
Jim, I seem to recall being able to do that successfully, but it's been a while. Have you tried Homesite+ ? I'm liking it pretty well - in fact it's all I use. Jeff -Original Message- From: Jim McAtee [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, April 04, 2003 1:42 PM To: CF-Talk Subject: Run CF Studio 4 and 4.5 on same machine? I've been running CF Studio 4 for just about forever. I recall trying 4.5 quite a while ago and not particularly liking it, but I'd like to try it out again. Can I run both on the same machine, so that I could uninstall one or the other if I choose? It would be easier than installing, uninstalling, reinstalling, if I want to go back to 4. RE: CFMX Updater 3 Available
I've been using Updater 3 in 4 different installations and it's working just fine - great in fact. The COM implementation works as expected (finally) (in my limited testing), which is nice. I'd be surprised to find anyone's installations dying. I can't speak for MM, but if it works on Updater 2, its going to work on Updater 3. If you haven't even migrated the app from prior versions of CF, then that's another matter. There are backward compatibility issues and I wouldn't just upgrade without extensive testing. Yes, there have been some issues with CFMX, but it is far outweighed by the improved performance and the feature set. Verity Performance
I'm interested in feedback about Verity performance in large websites. I'm talking about K2 server. I'm in the process of recommending a solution to a university and I want to be sure that the tools provided are adequate to the task. RE: How to access row in loop
Eric, You're missing the item attribute for looping over a collection. Currentrow is from a cfoutput or cfloop query loop, not from your collection. You also are missing pound signs on your collection attribute. It has to go like this: cfloop collection=#cdjwebdoc.cdweb# item=x !---Check for existence of SKU cfquery name=check datasource=#dsn# Select id from inventory where sku = '#trim(cdjwebdoc.cdweb.[x].sku)#' /cfquery cfif check.recordcount EQ 1 !--- IF SO, Update--- cfquery name=updateinv datasource=#dsn# Update inventory set intcontent = '#cdjwebdoc.cdweb.[x].internetdescription#', invtitle = '#cdjwebdoc.cdweb.[x].invoicedescription#', sellprice = #cdjwebdoc.cdweb.[x].internetsellfor#, sale = #cdjwebdoc.cdweb.[x].sale#, item_cost = #cdjwebdoc.cdweb.[x].unitcost#, inventory_minimum = #cdjwebdoc.cdweb.[x].minimuminventory# Where sku = '#trim(cdjwebdoc.cdweb.[x].sku)#' /cfquery /cfloop HTH, Jeff -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, March 13, 2003 12:22 PM To: CF-Talk Subject: How to access row in loop Here's my busted attempt to get certain items from a structure while looping through it...can someone tell me where I messed up?
