I was subscribed to CF Talk in digest mode, I seem to have started receiving
individual posts. Is digest no longer available now that the HTML version is
live?

Generated html cut off

2003-02-06 Thread Michel Gallant
I'm using CFMX v6,0,0,55693 on Windows 2000 with 1 gig RAM. Some pages
are not generating the complete html. For example, I have one page that
the html generated by CFMX ends with http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?forumid=4

RE: Cfmail problems

2001-12-12 Thread Michel Gallant

Sorry, it`s Rockliffe mailsite 3.4.7
Only cfmail causes this problem. We have a hundred people who use this as
their SMTP server. I also have other custom mail tags that work fine with
this SMTP server.

The error is occuring on your mail server? Sounds like a problem with your
mailserver.

What mail server package? SP level? Checked your vendor's KB?

Cfmail problems

2001-12-12 Thread Michel Gallant

I was wondering if anyone else was having problems with cfmail. My problem
doesn't involve mass-mailing or performance on bulk mails. I`m having
trouble getting it to even send one message. The problem started when we
upgraded to CFAS 5. I`ve verified and the the message isn't held in
Coldfusion's spools, cfmail gives me no errors. However, looking in the
event viewer of the mail server, I see this :
Network I/O error 64 (0X0040) encountered when sending command response
to xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx.
Of course, xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx would be my IP. The problem occurs on every mail
send. I would appreciate any hints you may have.

Multi|single threaded CFXs

2001-12-07 Thread Michel Gallant

Hi, I wrote a CFX in Java. I was wondering. How one programs so that their
CFX is multi-thread save? Is there a way to test the CFX to see if it is
multi-thread safe? I avoided Java APIs that specifically said that they
weren't multi-thread safe, but I'm no expert Java programmer. Any hints

Is what I use and it works great...The value of your cfheader is missing
"Attachment".

Subject: CFM File Extension for Downloads

Hello,

I'm creating Excel documents for download. I've created the cfheader and
cfcontent type (see below) however, when you try to download in Netscape,
the name of the script "script.cfm" is saved vs. the name of the "file.xls"
that I create. What's the work around for this so that the file is saved
(or opened) as the .xls name I've given it?

Thanks,
Dave

this seems like a simple question, but does anyone know how to make what you
enter into a text area come out the same way when you redisplay it. so if
in my text box i had a sentence with 2 hard returns in between, when i
redisplay this data outsid of the textarea, i want it to have those same 2
hard returns. i tried wrap="hard" and that didnt work.
thanks,
bec.

Hi there, I was wondering if anyone knew of an active custom tag development

way to specify the charset for the request.getAttribute and query.setData
