OT: IE problem
Hoping ya'll can help me out here. About a month ago, My IE6 browser at home started acting odd. I was having to double click or press the spacebar to access objects. It never happened before, and I cannot get it to stop. An example of this is using Outlook Web Access, when I go to type an email, I have to click once or press the spacebar just to access the message body field. Another example is if I go to ESPN Radio, I have to click an extra time first to access the player controls. I have looked at the IE settings and played with a few but I cannot seem to get it to stop. Help would be greatly appreciated if someone can help me noodle this one through. thanks -r _ Rob Barthle Contractor - Sr. Software Developer [EMAIL PROTECTED] 202-245-6484 ~| Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:4:239410 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/4 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:4 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.4 Donations Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54

RE: OT: IE problem
Yea, just remember when dealing with IE, its not a Bug, it's a Feature! The sad thing is that when coding internal sites, I have to manhandle my nice CSS that works great with Firefox into a sad css-hacked jumble to work with IE =( -Original Message- From: Ken Ferguson [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, May 03, 2006 2:49 PM To: CF-Talk Subject: Re: OT: IE problem I always find the most helpful link for dealing with IE annoyances is www.getfirefox.com! --Ferg Barthle, Robert (Contractor) wrote: Hoping ya'll can help me out here. Re: OT: IE problem
I'm amazed people missed this - the entire internet has been discussing the ActiveX activation patent case for ages. Anyway, you are stuck with it as it is a feature now required by law. If your own pages are suffereing, a number of fixes have been posted to this list over the last few weeks and these will be in the archives. OT: IE problem with form
I am having a bizzare problem as internet explorer is not submitting any form elements. e.g I have a page like this !--- Test.cfm form action=test2.cfm method=post input type=Text name=txt value=Qasim input type=Submit name=action value=Submit /form and the action page for form is cfdump var=#form# When I submit test.cfm using IE, on the action page nothing happens and form variables do exists even in the debugging info of CF. However these pages works fine if I run them with Firefox. Any thoughts? Thanks ~| Logware (www.logware.us): a new and convenient web-based time tracking application.
