Re: Doc Watson

2001-07-11 Thread Bud

On 7/5/01, CF-Talk \(SD Solutions\) penned:
I don't know any CF 4.52.
The last update I know of is: 4.5.1 SP2

Yeah yeah yeah. That's what everyone calls it and it's easier than
typing it your way. :)

Now, if someone could answer my question??? (below)

:-D

Hi all. I finally broke down and installed 4.52. Now once a day or so
I'm getting a cfserver.exe Doc Watson and CF is shutting down. Any
idea what to look for? Never happened in over a year of running 4.01.

RE: Doc Watson

2001-07-11 Thread Robert Everland

Check a lot of your code, when upgrading to newer versions of CF they get
more strict with how your code is written. I remember my last job, we
upgrade from 4.0 to 4.01 for Y2k fixes and the whole website wouldn't work
because 4.0 allowed cfapplication to not have a name while 4.01 didn't allow
this behavior. So maybe there is a tag or something crashing your computer.
I have never run into a problem with 4.5.2.

2001-06-26 Thread Dylan Bromby

do you use session vars? do you lock them? we had to apply a fair amount of
CFLOCK to our web apps when we upgraded to 4.5.2 a while back.
