Re: problems with Verity on Solaris 8 with CFMX 7

2007-04-02 Thread Wim Lemmens
Hello,

I'm struggeling with the exact same issue.
Were you able to solve it? How?

Thank you so much for your reply!

We installed CFMX 7 to our development box on Monday. (It's a Solaris
8 machine with a previous install of cf 6.1 and Verity.) We have been
working ever since to get Verity working and we are about to hit our
deadline. We have installed every language pack we can find and we are
still having issues with locales. The code is running on Windows with
CFMX 7 and Verity just fine. But when we try to create indexes in a
foreign language we get exceptions.

Our current hurdle is that when we run this code:
 cfcollection action=CREATE path=/hiding/our/collection/path/
collection=partners_2_3 language=french

followed by this code:
 cfindex type=custom collection=partners_2_3 language=french
 query=processed  title=title  key=contentid
body=title,contentbody action=refresh custom2=urlpath

We get this error on the CFIndex:
Language mismatch for collection partners_2_3. The language you
specified, english, does not match the collection language of french.

Even though we specify French in the CFIndex tag, Verity receives that
we specified English. We have 800 collections involving many different
languages. We assume that this would fail for all languages, not just
French, but we haven't taken out French to test this.

Help!

Thanks

Sun Solaris 8 and CFMX Standard - can/does it work?

2004-11-23 Thread Stephen Cassady
Checking the Docs indicates that Sun Solaris 8 is supported by CFMX, but
reading more - it looks like only the Enterprise version is supported.

Can someone confirm this (and not someone also just rereading the same
documents) and Explain why this is? Or, better yet, tell me that Standard is
supported somehow? Somehow using JRun? I don't know.

The client wishes to install on a Sun Solaris 8 with Apache that they are
currently running.

Thanks in advance -

MS Access97 on Solaris 8

2001-03-16 Thread Troy Simpson

I've noticed on the product support matrix that Sun Solaris supports
ODBC connections. Does this include MS Access97 on Sun Solaris8?

I have been requested to determine if this configuration is possible for
our small departmental apps. The requirements are: 1. run ColdFusion
Enterprise on a Sun Solaris8 system; 2. store and query MS Access97
database files on the Sun Solaris8 system.

Is this possible and supported.

Thanks,
Troy

Solaris 8

2000-11-20 Thread Benji Spencer

before we upgrade things to Solaris 8, we are doing a little research to
verify that there are no issues with doing thisso...

does anyone know of any issues that might arise if we upgrade the OS on our
CF server to Solaris 8?

Are there any issues with the integrated firewall that comes with Solaris 8?

thanks.

RE: CF 4.5.1 on Solaris 8

2000-08-01 Thread Dave Watts

I just got this new sun box and I am trying to get ColdFusion
 to run on it.

I am running apache 1.3.12 but I keep getting this error
 about the LoadModule
 Here is the error

Invalid command 'LoadModule', perhaps mis-spelled or defined
by a module not included in the server configuration

Has anybody else seen this? How did you fix it?

Look in the httpd.conf file (probably located at /usr/local/apache/conf) at
the lines that specify LoadModule and AddModule. Make sure that each one
points to a correct file. If you have any specific questions, let me know.
