Re: Split screen editor for two files
Also Dreamweaver MX 2004 has split screen for multiple files, and includes HomeSite 5.5+ in the purchase price (Which is CFS and is 100 cheaper than CFS was). - Calvin - Original Message - From: Tom Smith To: CF-Talk Sent: Thursday, March 11, 2004 5:40 PM Subject: RE: Split screen editor for two files No problem:) -Original Message- From: Jeff Beer [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: 11 March 2004 17:31 To: CF-Talk Subject: RE: Split screen editor for two files Man.. Re: Split screen editor for two files
gVim supports that. Folds is another feature that is excellent for large files. Get back to me if you want to try it, I have some updated CF dictionary and syntax files. http://vim.sf.net -- Hugo Ahlenius - Hugo AhleniusE-Mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Project Officer Phone:+46 8 230460 UNEP GRID-ArendalFax:+46 8 230441 Stockholm OfficeMobile:+46 733 467111 WWW: http://www.grida.no - Original Message From: Jeff Beer [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: CF-Talk [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, March 11, 2004 17:19 Subject: Split screen editor for two files | Anyone know of a decent editor for CF that allows split screens for | two or | more files? | | I'm working with a template that's about 1500 lines and need to refer | to the | original pretty often. And if you pick a different sever the download will go faster, I have gotten severs that were that slow, picked another and then gotten 100Kb - they are throttled based on load. -- Rob [EMAIL PROTECTED] [Todays Threads] [This Message] [Subscription] [Fast Unsubscribe] [User Settings]

Re: Split screen editor for two files
Jedit (http://jedit.org/) does split screen. See Joshua Miller's site at http://www.joshuasmiller.com/jedit/ for info on macros and plugins to emulate some of the bu8ilt-in functionality of Dreamweaver/Homesite. I've been using it a while. It's not bad, the code insight provided through the XML plugin needs some work but it's a very usable editor. -- Howard Fore, [EMAIL PROTECTED] You know, if I can survive marching band, I can survive anything Nellie McKay On Mar 11, 2004, at 11:19 AM, Jeff Beer wrote: Anyone know of a decent editor for CF that allows split screens for two or more files?
