[cfaussie] Re: My charts dont come out

2009-03-28 Thread Mark Ireland

Surely you wouldnt expose CFIDE/Administrator/

Dont people just use CFIDE/scripts and change some xml configs?

Anyone tried creating a blank CFIDE/images/GraphData.cfm and
CFIDE/GraphData.cfm?

Does apache need a mapping to jrunscripts?

I believe if you do a search on the Adobe website for multi homed
coldfusion you'll find various articles on recommended setups for
Coldfusion when it comes to charts and other things relying on the CFIDE
directory. I believe the IIS and Apache connectors have some sort of
magic in some cases to make this work.

isn't there another way? something that doesn't involve /CFIDE (even

[cfaussie] Re: My charts dont come out

2009-03-28 Thread Simon Haddon
I can think of 2 things.

1. That since you are using https (SSL) you might not have your mappings or
virtual host setup for that. Probably you only have them for http (clear).
This would be in IIS not Coldfusion. If this is a shared hosting situation
then you will need your mwn IP address as you cannot virtual host with SSL.
Not that I am aware of anyway.

2. In the CF administrator their is a mapping (Disk Cache Location) for
where charts are placed. This needs to match the URL.

Another option is to bypass the CF charting and ue the API directly. If you
search google there are some examples on how it's done.

Cheers,
Simon
