(SSAS).



*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:*  (Other duties may be assigned.)

Ø  Create innovative reports using SSRS and other Microsoft BI tools

Ø  Convert legacy DTS packages to SSIS

Ø  Create new SSIS packages and automate file transfer processes

Ø  Assist DBA with SQL code reviews and the mentoring of other developers

Ø  Tune existing code to reduce locking and performance issues

Ø  Contribute to the design and development of a new data warehouse

Ø  Enhance existing SSIS packages and SSRS reports as necessary

Ø  Analyze existing database applications for performance tuning, alerting
and monitoring, work with the team to integrate efforts with relational
databases.

Ø  Install and configure new SQL Servers.



*COMPETENCIES:*

Ø  Strong T-SQL programming skills, including the ability to tune,
troubleshoot, and document queries using up-to-date methods and features

Ø  Solid knowledge of creating, managing, and deploying SSRS reports

Ø  Thorough understanding of relational database design and ETL concepts

Ø  Proficiency in using SSIS to import and export files to and from
databases

Ø  Exhibit willingness to document code

Ø  Familiarity with cube development in SSAS, QlikView, and Microsoft Power
BI Tools (Excel Services, Power Pivot, Power View, etc.) preferred

Ø  Knowledge of relational database design and maintenance.

Ø  Ability to prioritize and manage duties as assigned with minimal
direction

Ø  Strong analysis skills

Ø  Superb documentation skills

Ø  Excellent time management, organization, teamwork, problem-solving, and
communication (verbal and written) skills

Ø  Eagerness to build solid relationships with internal clients by
providing a superior level of service



*EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:*

Ø  6+ years of experience in SQL Server development (T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS)

Ø  3+ years of experience in database administration

Ø  4 year degree in computer science

Healthcare industry and/or EMR system experience is preferred
