Help for [EMAIL PROTECTED]: This help message is being sent to you from the Majordomo mailing list management system at [EMAIL PROTECTED] This is version 1.94.4 of Majordomo. If you're familiar with mail servers, an advanced user's summary of Majordomo's commands appears at the end of this message. Majordomo is an automated system which allows users to subscribe and unsubscribe to mailing lists, and to retrieve files from list archives. You can interact with the Majordomo software by sending it commands in the body of mail messages addressed to "[EMAIL PROTECTED]". Please do not put your commands on the subject line; Majordomo does not process commands in the subject line. You may put multiple Majordomo commands in the same mail message. Put each command on a line by itself. If you use a "signature block" at the end of your mail, Majordomo may mistakenly believe each line of your message is a command; you will then receive spurious error messages. To keep this from happening, either put a line starting with a hyphen ("-") before your signature, or put a line with just the word end on it in the same place. This will stop the Majordomo software from processing your signature as bad commands. Here are some of the things you can do using Majordomo: I. FINDING OUT WHICH LISTS ARE ON THIS SYSTEM To get a list of publicly-available mailing lists on this system, put the following line in the body of your mail message to [EMAIL PROTECTED]: lists Each line will contain the name of a mailing list and a brief description of the list. To get more information about a particular list, use the "info" command, supplying the name of the list. For example, if the name of the list about which you wish information is "demo-list", you would put the line info demo-list in the body of the mail message. II. SUBSCRIBING TO A LIST Once you've determined that you wish to subscribe to one or more lists on this system, you can send commands to Majordomo to have it add you to the list, so you can begin receiving mailings. To receive list mail at the address from which you're sending your mail, simply say "subscribe" followed by the list's name: subscribe demo-list If for some reason you wish to have the mailings go to a different address (a friend's address, a specific other system on which you have an account, or an address which is more correct than the one that automatically appears in the "From:" header on the mail you send), you would add that address to the command. For instance, if you're sending a request from your work account, but wish to receive "demo-list" mail at your personal account (for which we will use "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" as an example), you'd put the line subscribe demo-list [EMAIL PROTECTED] in the mail message body. Based on configuration decisions made by the list owners, you may be added to the mailing list automatically. You may also receive notification that an authorization key is required for subscription. Another message will be sent to the address to be subscribed (which may or may not be the same as yours) containing the key, and directing the user to send a command found in that message back to [EMAIL PROTECTED] (This can be a bit of extra hassle, but it helps keep you from being swamped in extra email by someone who forged requests from your address.) You may also get a message that your subscription is being

Yep, I was very disappointed in the lack of notice that they were taking over...also that they didn't offer to refund money to those who might not want to remain members of the club. I don't know anything about the Yesteryears club, but I may search it later tonite to see what I can find. RE: [Chevelle-List] Info on YesterYears
The Yesteryears (65-72) is part of the Late Great Chevrolet Association with Bowtie Chevy's (55-57) and Late Greats (58-64), a sort of a one-stop shopping that apparently excludes Camaros and Corvettes. While true that they "welcomed" the Chevelles from NCOA, they absorbed them as part of Late Great or Yesteryear (whichever is applicable). If you're an all Chevy enthusiast, it might be the place to be. Right now I'm not (although I've owned my share of 55-56-62-64 etc Chevy's) and I'll stick with Chevelles for a while. They have an International Headquarters (http://www.lategreatchevy.com/) and it appears as though their main claim to fame is selling parts. I'm sure they are a fine organization and maybe someday if I ever get my dream 56 Nomad...g Dale McIntoshACES #1709/TC #92 Gold67 SS/67 Elkyhttp://www.dalesplace.comhttp://www.team67.comhttp://www.midwestchevelles.com -Original Message-From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of [EMAIL PROTECTED]Sent: Saturday, February 02, 2002 4:10 PMTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED]Subject: Re: [Chevelle-List] Info on "YesterYears"I know that most everyone on the list that has membership in the former NCOA, now Late Great Chevys will be letting their membership expire, including myself. [Chevelle-List] Need advice
Hello guys. I am Luis H. Corbala and had been absent from the list for quite some time until about a week ago. You might remember me the Chevelle lover from Mexico who used to fantasize about building his 70 Chevelle. well it seems like the time is finally coming, I am sending the car to the body shop in about two or three weeks, and in the mean time I have to build the roll cage and get the engine and tranny installed. I have already sold the tunnel rammed 383 that I was going to use, and bought a .030 over 454 to use with my wide ratio Muncie. Now I wanted to ask for your advice on what I should do with the engine since I was thinking about setting it back a few inches. Is it worth doing so when it comes to handling in the dragstrip and weight transfer? I do not mind cutting the firewall ifthe performancereally improves, my car is not an SS anyway, and it was so beaten up that I am giving it a second chance on life, even if I cut it up. My real concern is messing with the linkage for the clutch, I will use a high pressure RAM clutch, so the linkage need to work smoothly (Should I go for a hydraulic setup?). The car will be a daily driven street brawler, and I have already removed the complete AC system (If anybody needed an AC system and were willing to pay for shipping only feel free to give me a call), the brake booster, the power steering and the seats. so creature comfort is not exactly my priority as is boulevard intimidation. Any comments will be very very welcome. Thanks and God blessyou! Luis H. Corbala Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico.

Well yes, I was starting a car magazine, and it is coming along fine, people are responding to it, the second issue is already on the printing press and I can tell you that some people are already looking forward to buying it. It has been fun, but making a magazine is harder than it sounds since it is not only writing but also selling the ads. and promoting it, especially when you are new, but we are getting there.
