George,

Have you contacted your local GM dealer? Seems to me, these codes are in place for a reason and your GM dealer should have a directory or, at the very least. be able to point you in the right direction.

Reducing the antifreeze ratio helps the cooling.
Pure water gets rid of heat much better but you need some anifreeze for
corrosion resistance. In my ZR-1's all alum LT5's,I ran 100% pure distilled
water with two bottles of Water Wetter in the summer and only added antifreeze
in the winter. The Water Wetter took its place.

2006-09-28 Thread Larry Williams
Any of you guys going to Kingdon Drag Strip show and race on Oct 7th.?
There will be a car show and racing down the strip w/ timers.

A quote from Drag New Magazine:
Kingdon track to hold reunion day. Kingdon Drag Strip, Lodi, Calif.
which shut down in 1978 and is now an airstrip, will hold a one day
reunion race on October 7. The Central Valley Cruisers members, along
with the current Kingdon Airpark staff will host Return to Kingdon: A
Day at the Races. The event will be the first reunion held at the
facility since 1994-1995. The event is to include a car and motorcycle
show, grudge match races, a raffle and vendors. Proceeds from the event
are to benefit the Lodi Junior Flames Football program. The event
promoters hope to attract between 500 to 1,000 cars and drivers,
including some of the racers who used to run at the dragstrip in the
50's to the early 70s. The track was home to the 1967 Winternationals,
and was the dragstrip king of Northern California in its heyday. Don
Garlits set the track record in his 1964 Swamp Rat IV in winning the Top
Eliminator title at 201.34 mph.

been sitting in my shop for almost two months because my broken ribs made it too
painful to drive. All the air had slowly bled out of the Air Ride system and the
car was sitting all the way down on its stops. When I went to start it

hard to drive it that way. grin So,I had to troubleshoot the problem and
all it was was a hot wire had come undone. Long story short,I'm not going

working okay until I installed a new one as part of an engine swap. What a
difference! I used to get some "temp-creep" at stop signs, now it has been
through a hot summer and the temp gauge never moves. They cost from $22 at www.partsamerica.com

Global West part # CTA-42A upper control arms with Del-a-lum bushings,
billet cross shafts, ball joints, and bump stops. GW sells these for
$632.32
+ freight. Mine have less than 4K miles and are still in nice condition.
Will sell these for $500 shipped to your door. Only reason I'm selling
them
is a new front suspension set-up with tall balljoints I have planned
requires a B-body style upper control arm.
I wanted to give you guys first crack at these arms before I advertise
them
 on Team Chevelle,Pro-Touring.com,etc.
