If you still have your wheels and tires before you worked on the front end you could put them back on to see how it acts. It could eliminate one variable. [Chevelle-list] Ladder bars
Thinking about installing ladder bars on my 65 El Camino. Has 383 stroker ( about 450 hp), 12 bolt read end, beefed up powerglide, 3/4 ton coil springs on front and rear, 10 wide BF Goodrich on the rear and 8 on the front. Need opinions before I do this. Insufficient caster causes wander, road shock, and a light feeling in the steering. Excessive positive caster can cause hard steering, shimmy, and tire wear in extreme cases. Unequal caster causes the vehicle to pull or lead toward the side having the least positive caster. A small amount of toe-in is required for optimum vehicle handling and to prevent steering wander. Terry, I agree totally, wander and a light feeling describe what I have. And the steering wheel does not return to center.
