Re: [Chevelle-list] Quarters

Goodmark used to make them, now they use Golden Star, Dynacorn uses
Golden Legion. AMD is also now producing some Chevelle metal. None of
these catalog vendors make any of the metal, they are simply
distributors for the 3 above. Go with the one who gives you best price
and/or is closest to you.

I think Goodmark Makes most of them out there. They should fit pretty
good. Unless you need full quarters, maybe just get patch panels and
keep what you can of the originals. I put Goodmark lower quarters (From
the body line down) and had no problems.

I bought my lower quarters and front fenders from Year One on the advice
of my bodyshop. They still had to make minor repairs to shipping damage
but that was faster then returning those for a replacement. They said
you're lucky to get something that large shipped without some
dents/bumps. They had no problems with installation or fit on my 1968
SS Chevelle. This was about 4 years ago.

Quick question for anyone that has worked with quarter panels. Who makes
the best quality and who has the best price? Ive heard Goodmark and Year
One make good ones with minimal headache? What do you guys think? Thank
you,
