I had the same problem with mine. I ended up getting a second control and
stripping off the part I needed.

wondering if anyone has a place to send a heater control unit to be repaired, i
just aquired a car that has the hot/cold pot metal lever on it broken off and
the piece is missing- - seems the door was stuck and someone must have forced
it. i have been looking on e-bay and swaps and such but have not been able to
locate a replacement.

What year, I have a new complete heater rebuild lever set with steel levers
new knobs and all. Was going to put it on Ebay some day for 66-67 chevelle.
Should fit Elkys also.

I am new to this list and hope you can help. I have a 1969 Chevelle SS with
air and the middle slider that allows you to switch between A/C and HEAT
will only slide half way from A/C to bi-level. It will not move to the HEAT
position. Is there a way to free this up or adjust it. Thanks

You wouldn't happen to carry the cables for A/C and non-A/C 67's by chance
and the levers for an A/C 67? I have one of each A/C and non-A/C and could
use new levers and cables for both. What kind of deal you got?

John,

Most suppliers make the lever kits for 67 Chevelles both with and without
A/C. OPG, Ground Up, Hinshaw's, etc. have them. OPG says theirs are steel
and not pot metal - others don't say. I have an older 2000 OPG catalog and
they were/are $49.95 for the three. Hinshaw's catalog shows them for $25.00
each. Hinshaw's also has the cables for $30 each.
