RE: [Chevelle-List] Off-Subject IT'S a BOY!!

2003-06-24 Thread Herb Lumpp
Hi John,

The rest of the Tour went pretty good. No real problems once the shifter
was in working order. As I'm sure you know by now, Mike made it home ok and
so did Jim. In fact I just got off the phone with Jim. He says things are
going pretty good and he's looking forward to meeting up at the Bristol Bash
in October.

I'm looking for a salvage cowl panel. It the part that the wipers mount
 to
just under the windshield for a 69 chevelle. I had taken apart a cowl
off
a 72 elcamino just to find out there slightly different. The 72 has
bolts
for rear hood adjustment and 69 doesn't. I'm sure I could hunt the
yards
and find another to dismantle however it would be worth paying for one
with my limited schedule. To my knowledge that part is not available
nos
or repro. If anyone who may have such a thing is going to the Maryland
show this weekend I am trying to make it there Saturday.

  Kind Regards,
  JDHall

Just a quick note to ya'll. Just Cuz' I'm so Dang happy. My wife and I
had
a baby boy Wednesday night! After having two girls, I needed a boy to
hand
me tools, and get greasy with. Anyways, he was 10Lbs 10 Oz. He's a
monster! After He grows up, I may not need a jack, I can just have him
lift
the back of the Chevelle for me! Anyway, his name is Joseph Dale, named
after my two role models, My Dad, and Dale Earnhardt. I'll be offline for
a
week or so, as I'm going to be out of the office helping at home. I catch
up with ya'll when I get back! L8R!

By the way, anybody Know where I can find a Gloss Black Stroller with
racing
slicks, and a big number 3 on the side?!

Chad, I believe Jim was asking if the cowl sections are the same between
a
'72 Chevelle and '72 El Camino in regards to mounting his wiper arms.

Do you still have the 72 elcamino cowl and most importantly, a question
 to
the group, would it fit a 72 coupe? I need a replacement for the part
that the wipers mount to on my 72 coupe SS.

Wow, 10Lbs 10 Oz. Your wife may never let you near her again.

I thought my youngest boy at 10Lbs 2 Oz. was big. I told my wife if he
was a bass I would have had him mounted..she didn't think it was
funny.

Just so you know what you have to look forward to: My son, Kyle, just
turned 15 years old and he's already 6 4 tall.

Congrats on the healthy baby boy, I seen a golf cart at the GM Nationals last week that was a replica of the # 3 Goodwrench car equipped with chrome header pipes coming out from behind the front wheels which were CragerS/S, but sorry didn't see any strollers like that
