Ok! I've had my share of beers in life but it's not that bad ;-)

I know for sure that the recycle the gas from the military stores to keep
the army

fuel fresh. Maybe the smell comes from their storage facilities?

Hi!

Sometimes when I fill my cars with gas the gas smells strange!

It doesen't smell like old fashioned ordinary gas, instead it has a foul
tar:ish smokey smell

like burnt Bakelite/Phenol. How come?

Best regards
Pelle

Acording to the assembly manual the neg. goes to the front pass. side of the
block. The positive is held in place by 1 clip to the frame directly down
from the battery and 2 clips on the oil pan. If it is an auto you can tie it
up to the trans cooler lines. Treans.

As far as I know it goes to the starter. On mine it takes a slight route
detour and goes to a remote solenoid. I could be wrong but I'll double
check when I go out to the garage later.

All I have is a pic of the solenoid route -

Hi All,

I would sure appreciate some help. (A picture would be wonderful too...

The

battery cables in my 69 chevelle are just wrong. By wrong, I mean that

they

don't have any clips to attach to the frame to hold the cable in place.

The

cable is dangling next to the tie rods ends. Can someone tell me where
to

route this so the movement of the tie rods doesn't hit the battery cable?

thanks
Thomas
