Re: [Chevelle-list] Block ID plz
Commonly, people stroke a 305 to 3.75 stroke. That would be a 334. Hardly worth the effort, IMO. I'd rather spend the money on a 350. Since a 305 uses a smaller bore, making a 350 out of one would be hard & expensive. This engine was sold to me as a 4 bolt 350, Lunati cam, double hump heads ported/polished etc. It has been in the car for almost 4 years now. Just cleaning it/detailing and ran across the CDF 207. I'm satisfied with what I have and the way it runs... The guy I bought it from is out of business. Question .. can the rotating assembly be changed out in this block to bring it up to a 350??.
Re: [Chevelle-list] Block ID plz
The 305 already has the 3.48 stroke of the 350. You'd need to take the bore up to 4.00", which AFAIK is not possible. http://www.mortec.com/borstrok.htm Karl GrovesMaster Certified CIWhttp://www.karlgroves.comWill Work For Parts:http://chevelle.karlcore.com/detail.php?id=3 From: Denny Shewmake [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, January 20, 2006 11:23 AMTo: Chevelle-list@chevelles.netSubject: Re: [Chevelle-list] Block ID plz Thanks - 82 305ci is what I came up with also.
